Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Accessory Technician to join our team at Dow Aero, LLC. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, repair, and overhaul of mechanical, electromechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic aircraft accessories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance, repair, and overhaul of aircraft accessories, including disassembly, cleaning, paint removal, inspection, and reassembly.
  • Test and troubleshoot complex electromechanical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Read, understand, and interpret technical data, including blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and specifications.
  • Use basic to complex mechanical and electronic measuring and test equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, and DMMs.
  • Set up and use shop tools and equipment, including drills, grinders, and hand tools.
  • Identify and communicate risks to leadership and take appropriate action.
  • Work across all functions to ensure priorities are communicated, WIP is completed per schedule, and material needs are actioned.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in a Part 145 Repair Station performing maintenance, repair, and overhaul of mechanical, electromechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic accessories.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and understand complex technical data.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Maintain A & P Certification or eligibility to obtain FAA Repairman Certificate within 180 days of hire.
  • Graduate from a technical school.
Work Environment

The Aircraft Accessory Technician will work in a climate-controlled shop environment, with occasional exposure to loud noises, fumes, and particles. The position requires frequent moving mechanical equipment and vibrations.
