We are currently seeking to fill the following position:
JOB TITLE &

DESCRIPTION:
Helicopter Maintenance Technician (A&P Preferred)

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Utilize test equipment for rotor system tracking and balancing adjustments.
Interpret Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins for helicopter applications.
Employ measuring instruments such as dial calipers, micrometers, and borescopes for precise measurements.
Perform adjustments and troubleshoot engine parameters including oil pressure and temperature indications.
Utilize common hand tools for applying torque to fasteners.
Maintain detailed records of all repairs and maintenance in compliance with repair station guidelines.

Conduct inspections and repairs of aircraft following strict safety protocols established by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) or relevant regulatory bodies.

Execute routine maintenance checks and diagnostic tests to identify hydraulic and mechanical issues.
Refer to maintenance blueprints, manuals, and documentation to aid in troubleshooting and repairs.
Manage inventory of aircraft parts and supplies, keeping thorough records of inspections and maintenance activities.
Complete tasks within designated time frames while adhering to FAA and company standards.
Collaborate with fellow mechanics and engineers to ensure efficient repairs and optimal aircraft performance.

SKILLS:
Strong analytical skills with a focus on troubleshooting.
Proficient in mathematics and computer applications.
Detail-oriented with a strong interest in mechanics.
Manual dexterity and physical stamina.
Extensive experience with hand and power tools, along with knowledge of aircraft systems and components.
Ability to perform consistent and precise repairs under pressure.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent

Minimum of 3 years' experience as a helicopter mechanic, with at least 2 years on specific helicopter models.

Proficient in blueprint reading, geometry, and trigonometry.
Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
Familiarity with aviation maintenance manuals.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
Inspection and Authorization License.
Recent OEM school training within the last 4 years.
Experience with both commercial and military helicopters.
Leadership experience in a supervisory or management capacity.

Schedule and Benefits:
Standard eight-hour First Shift, Monday to Friday; Benefits include medical, dental, vacation, PTO, vision, life insurance, and 401K matching; Compensation based on experience.
