Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and verify invoices, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
  • Manage the timely and accurate entry of invoices into Acumatica.
  • Monitor the accounts payable inbox and respond to inquiries from vendors.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Assist with weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reporting as needed.
  • Prepare and process online credit card and check payments on a weekly basis.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date accounts payable files.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors regarding invoice issues, payment statuses, and account inquiries.
  • Support audits by providing documentation and information on accounts payable transactions.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in accounting or finance is a plus.
  • 1-2 years of experience in accounts payable or similar role.
  • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g. Acumatica, QuickBooks, Oracle).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (basic level required, intermediate level preferred).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures.
