Job Title: Bio Molecular Field Service Specialist

About the Role:

As a Bio Molecular Field Service Specialist at Agilent, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our customers' laboratories. Your primary responsibility will be to provide on-site installation, implementation, maintenance, and repair of our company and multi-vendor systems solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Installs and optimizes hardware/software/network products and configurations at customer sites.
- Diagnoses and resolves product performance problems.
- Performs maintenance and repairs.
- Ensures customer satisfaction by advising customers on preventive maintenance and configurations, which may impact product performance.
- Proactively responds to potential equipment issues to prevent unplanned interruption of customers' business.
- Delivers fully integrated solutions, which may include peripherals, communications, operating systems, and applications software.
- Trains other field engineers and customers in the solutions.

Requirements:

- A Bachelor's, master's, or another university-level degree within the science field is strongly preferred (chemistry, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, or similar).
- 2+ years of experience in a similar position or strong experience as an end-user.
- Experience or expertise with Automation and/or Plate Readers.
- Experience with troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Experience with the Agilent solutions is desired but not essential.
- Verbal and written communication is clear, respectful, and timely.
- You enjoy traveling and visiting customers, including some overnight travel up to 35% to 50%.
- A valid driver's license is required for this role.

Additional Details:

This job has a full-time weekly schedule. Applications for this job will be accepted until at least October 10, 2024, or until the job is no longer posted. In the US, this position is eligible for choice of company car or reimbursement for personal vehicle usage. The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $50.90/hr plus eligibility for bonus, stock, and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. During the hiring process, a recruiter can share more about the specific pay range for a preferred location.
