Role Overview

We are seeking an Investment Operations Specialist to become a vital member of our Operations team focused on Alternative Assets. This team plays a crucial role in recordkeeping, accounting, and reporting for investment portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

  • Validate portfolio and transaction-level activities, including trades and income payments.
  • Prepare and verify general ledger entries.
  • Conduct reconciliations with custody banks and trade systems.
  • Generate various reports for internal stakeholders.

What You Can Expect
  • Review financial statements for Limited Partnerships and Joint Ventures.
  • Process journal entries related to cash transactions.
  • Adhere to accounting standards for Other Invested Assets.
  • Prepare manual vouchers and wire transfers.
  • Ensure accurate cash reflection in the ledger.
  • Monitor data integrity across systems.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Ability to analyze financial documents and accounting principles.
  • Capacity to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work overtime during peak periods.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience or internship in investment management or financial services.
