Role Overview: This position involves performing essential clinical and administrative functions to support the designated area or office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducts thorough reviews and documentation of Social Determinants.
  • Under the guidance of healthcare professionals, assists in executing patient evaluations and treatments.
  • Accurately gathers and records patient vital signs, including height, weight, and relevant medical history.
  • Facilitates the activation of My Chart Accounts as needed and ensures seamless Telehealth connectivity for scheduled appointments.
  • Maintains medical equipment and supplies, including ordering, stocking, and adhering to cleaning protocols.
  • Manages in-basket messages and patient inquiries efficiently.
  • Documents all patient care activities and recognizes when to seek assistance in urgent situations.
  • Performs various administrative tasks such as scanning, reception duties, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
  • Conducts basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection, including phlebotomy and procedural room setup.

Essential Skills: Critical thinking, effective communication, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently are crucial for this role.

Qualifications: No prior experience is necessary. Candidates may be recent graduates from an accredited EMT or Medical Assistant program. Alternatively, six months of patient care experience may substitute for formal education.

Work Environment: The role may involve exposure to various biological hazards and requires adherence to safety protocols.
