Job Summary

The Executive Director of Operations will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of STK Steakhouse, ensuring that all aspects of the business are running smoothly and efficiently. This individual will be the central point of contact for the restaurant and will be responsible for communicating with staff and management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operations Management
    • Manage and oversee all operational aspects of the business, including staff management, inventory control, and customer service.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Staff Management
    • Recruit, train, and develop management and hourly staff.
    • Coach and mentor staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Fiscal Responsibility
    • Monitor and manage the restaurant's budget, including sales forecasts and profitability reports.
    • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and improve profitability.
  • Leadership
    • Provide leadership and guidance to staff, ensuring that they are motivated and empowered to perform their best.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve staff morale and engagement.

Requirements

  • Experience
    • Minimum 8 years of professional hospitality experience, preferably in a high-end restaurant environment.
  • Skills
    • Excellent management, delegation, and presentation skills.
    • Strong influence, interpersonal, verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and creative solution generation skills.
    • General business acumen.
    • Expert knowledge of restaurant computer systems.
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field.
