We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Program Manager to join our team at Children's National. This is a full-time position that will play a critical role in managing initiatives, processes, and projects in our prenatal, neonatal nursing program.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a nurse training program and curriculum to support the growth and development of our nursing staff.
- Collaborate with the Perinatal Pediatrics Institute and the Heart Center to ensure seamless integration of our programs.
- Assess and prioritize wellbeing initiatives using qualitative and quantitative data sources that are representative of the nursing workforce.
- Develop program budget, and monitor and adjust plan as resource requirements change.
- Advocate for material, financial, and human resources to ensure program sustainability.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Required)
- Master's Degree in nursing or healthcare program (Preferred)
- 5 years minimum work experience, demonstrating progressive work-related responsibility and growth (Required)
- Strong interpersonal, operations, and program management skills.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills.
- Comfortable challenging organizational norms and accepted thinking to improve effectiveness.
