Responsibilities
  • Develop and coordinate detailed design concepts, from early design phases through coordination and detailing, and develop project documentation
  • Perform production functions: drafting, documentation, and model creation
  • Prepare design presentation packages
  • Perform assignments, including basic plans, elevations, renderings, square foot calculations, materials investigations, and understanding where those fall within a project
  • Work through technical challenges and consultant coordination to implement design content
  • Communicate and present design intent to team and clients, using a variety of representation and presentation techniques
  • Lead, delegate, and critique work effectively; take ownership of aspects of projects and the design while collaborating with all members of the team
Requirements
  • A Professional Degree in Interior Design or Architecture from an accredited program
  • 4+ years of experience
  • Licensure a plus
  • High level of proficiency in Revit
  • Communication and Presentation: Adobe and Microsoft suites, rendering, Enscape (physical model making a plus)
  • Design: SketchUp (Rhino a plus)

Sasaki Associates is headquartered in Boston with smaller offices in New York, Shanghai, Denver, and Los Angeles. This position is based in Boston and requires at least three days a week face-to-face in our Chinatown studio, with robust support for hybrid work.
