Deputy Project Manager

Job Summary:
Leidos is seeking a highly experienced Deputy Project Manager to lead C6ISR operations and transition activities for the LEIA contract. The successful candidate will provide leadership and oversight of all C6ISR operations, ensuring the team maximizes mission results, ensures safety of personnel and equipment, and maintains accountability to the U.S. government.
Key Responsibilities:

- Serve as Deputy Transition Project Manager for LEIA Contract, Task 2 (C6ISR Operations)
- Coordinate with the Program Transition Support Team and Task Leads to plan, execute, and track transition activities
- Provide subject matter expertise and serve as the senior C6ISR Operations Planner
- Lead and participate in Working Groups and Joint Planning Teams to make recommendations on aligning processes and procedures
- Engage in U.S.-only planning and bilateral planning initiatives under guidance and develop solutions and plans activities
- Collaborate with teams for development of base plans, annexes, and other planning documents
- Assist in research, data collection, and preliminary threat analysis
- Provide expert analysis on key issues relevant to senior leadership through written and oral means
- Analyze events, documents, and activities to identify key impacts to SOCPAC
- Provide oversight of Technical Direction Letters (TDLs) and coordinate with Government personnel and Agencies/Departments to ensure SOCPAC C6ISR mission objectives are met
- Coordinate with appropriate SOCPAC personnel to ensure the release and acceptance of all information as it complies with the appropriate security controls and protections based on classification, technological progress, or other considerations
- Responsible for working with program leaders, program staff, and contracts/subcontracts officers in managing a large Cost Plus Award Fee (CPAF) contract
- Development and presentation of Internal Program Reviews (IPRs)
- Works with SOCPAC and supported units to identify and plan changes in areas of operation and/or new sensor and collection requirements
- Gives capability briefings, coordinates action plans, and understands roles and missions of all members of SOCPAC, including civilian agencies and Partner Nations
- Ensures contract-mandated performance is met and compliance with Performance Work Statement
- Manages operational systems; ensures standards and regulatory compliance are enforced
- Ensures safety; provides reports and updates to Program Management Office; maintains oversight of staff and equipment; monitors and tracks systems status; assesses and mitigates risk; ensures necessary procedures are in place; assists in auditing program for compliance with Government requirements
Requirements:
- Proven civilian and/or military leadership experience managing large projects/programs with diverse locations and 15+ personnel that spans organizational boundaries as well as select, recruit, mentor, train, and promote key team members
- Should have project experience working in positions of increasing responsibility, with substantive experience in management and supervision of ISR operations
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience or a master's degree and six (6) years of relevant experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Active Top-Secret/SCI Security Clearance
- Willingness to relocate and reside on Oahu, Hawaii within commuting distance of Joint Base Pearl Harbor/Hickam and Camp Smith
- Possesses strong problem-solving, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills to be able to adapt communication style to suit different audiences
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, and Outlook)
- Able to obtain a passport and willing to conduct domestic and international travel
