Graham Technologies (GTECH) is in search of a skilled civil engineer to manage engineering projects associated with military installations. This position focuses on supporting Military Construction (MILCON) and various engineering initiatives, ensuring compliance with established specifications, standards, and timelines. In this role, you will collaborate with both internal and external partners, evaluate designs, coordinate construction efforts, and ensure adherence to applicable regulations and requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Evaluation and Oversight:
  • Examine plans, designs, drawings, and specifications developed by licensed engineering professionals.
  • Evaluate and review design documents and deliverables at all stages for final approval.
  • Engage with stakeholders to address construction Requests for Information (RFIs) and manage project completion deliverables.
Documentation and Stakeholder Communication:
  • Coordinate, verify, and distribute all design plans, specifications, and project handover documents.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with project sponsors and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Organize facility planning, management, and coordination efforts for the Facilities Department.
Regulatory Compliance and Standards:
  • Identify new planning standards, Unified Facilities Criteria (UFCs), and regulations impacting projects.
  • Recommend modifications to current planning to incorporate updates and ensure compliance with existing criteria.
  • Apply UFCs, technical standards, and other requirements to project development and planning documentation.
Schedule Coordination:
  • Facilitate adherence to project timelines by coordinating with personnel and stakeholders.
  • Oversee critical initiatives and operations related to project requirements.
Reporting and Evaluation:
  • Produce analyses, reports, and briefings to keep stakeholders informed and support decision-making.
  • Maintain issue logs and project comment lists and coordinate project RFIs throughout all project phases.
Qualifications:
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Professional Civil Engineering License
  • Familiarity with DoD and Marine Corps policies related to facilities planning and engineering projects
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience with DoD installations and managing MILCON projects
  • Strong leadership and project management capabilities
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in facilities planning and programming
  • Knowledge of Naval Facilities (NAVFAC) and Army Corps of Engineers processes
  • Ability to create professional-level correspondence and manage programs effectively
