Job Title: Martinsville Manufacturing - Operations

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our Martinsville manufacturing team as an Operations Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for performing production work in one of our seven areas: Coating & Laminating, Dye House, DIY, Rewind, Sputtering, Metalizing, and Silicone.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform start-up and shut-down of operating equipment
  • Monitor and troubleshoot equipment
  • Maintain production area and participate in housekeeping/safety/environmental inspections
  • Load and unload items from machines, carts, and dollies
  • Feed or place items onto equipment for processing
  • Perform preventative and routine maintenance
  • Identify process deviations and perform root cause/corrective action

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED Required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Understand and follow all safety procedures
  • Willing to work 12 hour rotating shift schedules
  • Familiar with basic computer functions such as creating, sending, and receiving e-mail and data entry
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
  • Understand mechanical fundamentals and how to apply them to properly operate and maintain the performance of the equipment within their area of responsibility
