Residential Support Specialist Lead

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Residential Support Specialist Lead to join our team at Piedmont Community Services. The successful candidate will work at a Residential Waiver Group Home in Martinsville, VA, providing supervision and development to other staff while ensuring the program operates effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist QDDP in providing supervision and development to other staff.
- Ensure the program operates effectively.
- Provide individualized direct care and training in independent living skills, personal care skills, housekeeping skills, and recreational/leisure activities.
- Work collaboratively with a diverse team and demonstrate flexibility with shift schedules.
Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED required.
- At least one year of documented Residential experience working directly with individuals with ID/DD or other developmental disabilities.
- Experience in the human services field with knowledge of group home policies.
- Excellent documentation skills and proficiency using computers.
- Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
