About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Engineer to join our team at Jacobs. As a Water Engineer, you will play a critical role in planning, evaluating, and designing water infrastructure projects. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the delivery of high-quality engineering products that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement water infrastructure projects, including planning, design, and construction
  • Collaborate with project managers and discipline experts to deliver quality engineering products
  • Coordinate activities across disciplines and work closely with other subject matter experts and team members
  • Develop and maintain technical reports, presentations, and design drawings and specifications
  • Work independently and as part of a team to deliver and lead tasks
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or other applicable Engineering disciplines
  • At least 3 years of engineering experience in water related disciplines
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license, or ability to obtain within 18-months
  • Progressive experience developing engineering technical reports and presentations, design drawings and specifications, and/or with computer modeling
  • Foundational experience with MS Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Experience or working knowledge with Autodesk and/or Bentley CAD platforms
Preferred Qualifications
  • 4+ years of engineering experience in water related disciplines
  • Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or related discipline
  • Design and/or project management experience
  • Experience or working knowledge with Autodesk Civil 3D
