Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to join our team at MANN+HUMMEL. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and coordinating all activities within our production plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production Planning and Management
    • Establish and monitor operating budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness and maximize productivity.
    • Optimize resource allocation to meet production needs and achieve quality and manufacturing standards.
    • Research and evaluate investments in technology, capital, and equipment to enhance production capabilities.
  • Production Quality Management
    • Ensure quality control throughout the supply chain, from supplier to customer.
    • Develop and implement quality control procedures and measures, including CRM, production quality, and supplier quality.
    • Evaluate potential risks and ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
    • Liaise with external vendors and suppliers to ensure their products meet M+H quality standards.
  • Logistics and Technical Service
    • Manage physical logistics activities, including internal material flow within the plant.
    • Ensure proper maintenance of machines and technical equipment.
    • Translate customer specifications into manufacturing processes and develop equipment to meet customer needs.
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Organize, staff, and direct the area of responsibility.
    • Assign personnel to positions that match their qualifications and identify training needs.
    • Guide and develop direct reports within the HR policy.
    Requirements
    • University degree in Engineering or relevant field of technical or business education.
    • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in the manufacturing industry.
    • Strong organizational and planning skills, problem-solving, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of ISO 14001 requirements.
