Job Summary

The Middlesex Corporation is seeking a skilled Plant Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining, setting up, and repairing our Ready Mix Concrete plants and associated equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and service Ready Mix Concrete plants and equipment, including air compressors, conveyor belts, and water pumps.
  • Troubleshoot and repair machinery during operating and non-operating periods.
  • Work in confined spaces and read and interpret drawings, schematics, and repair manuals.
  • Maintain records of work performed and parts replaced.
  • Prepare and stock replacement parts and materials for maintenance.
  • Ensure all tools are in safe, working condition.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of maintenance experience.
  • Preparation for and welding of mild steel.
  • High School diploma or equivalent G.E.D.
  • Formal technical training is preferred.
  • Technical experience with Ready Mix Concrete plant setup and repair.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
