About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Billing Specialist to join our team at Dotdash Meredith. This role is responsible for preparing, entering, and obtaining proper supporting data for the generation of digital invoices from Operative One and the Oracle Financial System.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review assigned campaigns to ensure Operative One matches the insertion order in the system.
  • Evaluate and finalize revenue for each order to ensure we are following GAAP and SOX policies.
  • Complete invoice revisions as needed.
  • Save and send invoices to the agencies as they are generated.
  • Assist with other projects as needed.
About the Team

The Digital Billing team is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely invoicing for DDM's digital advertising business. We work closely with Account Strategy, Ad Ops, and Revenue Ops to ensure that invoices are accurate and clients are satisfied with their billing experience while making sure internal controls over invoicing and revenue recognition are properly executed.

Requirements
  • Preferably a two-year degree in Accounting and/or basic accounting knowledge.
  • Accounting experience and knowledge/experience with revenue recognition.
  • Thorough knowledge of PC spreadsheet applications (Excel).
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.
  • Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
