Key Responsibilities

The Vehicle Operator will be responsible for:

  • Safely transporting program participants from their residences to the program site and back.
  • Building rapport with individuals to enhance their daily experience.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and operational readiness of the assigned vehicle.
  • Completing and submitting monthly vehicle maintenance and safety checklists to management.

Compensation and Work Schedule

  • The hourly wage for this position is $17.00.
  • This is a part-time role requiring 20 hours of work per week, scheduled Monday through Friday.
  • Working hours are from 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM and 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM, with a requirement to cover both morning and afternoon shifts.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma is mandatory.
  • Minimum of three years of driving experience is required.
  • Successful candidates must pass a physical examination and drug/alcohol screening post-offer.
  • A valid driver's license for Massachusetts, a clean driving record, and dependable transportation are essential.
  • Background checks, including references and CORI, will be conducted for all potential hires.
