Job Title: SIC Electrical Foreman

Job Summary: We are seeking experienced Electrical Foremen to oversee projects and ensure the successful execution of electrical installations and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement new or modified electrical installations to ensure compliance with specifications and local codes.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of assigned electrical craft workers.
  • Interpret technical specifications, blueprints, and job orders relevant to the work area.
  • Communicate company policies to team members and enforce safety regulations diligently.
  • Establish and modify work sequences to align with project schedules, utilizing knowledge of equipment capabilities and personnel skills.
  • Analyze project schedules and estimate labor requirements for task completion.
  • Participate in project planning and scheduling meetings.
  • Identify and resolve work-related issues effectively.
  • Maintain accurate time records for all personnel.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and specifications.
  • Utilize personal judgment to assess information against measurable standards.
  • Work within defined accuracy limits and standards.
  • Recognize and respond to hazardous conditions promptly.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections of the work environment, tools, and equipment to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Possess appropriate journeyman experience in electrical work.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Complete all required safety and job training as mandated by the company.
  • Adhere to safety and quality processes consistently.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to utilize all necessary personal protective equipment and lift up to fifty pounds.
  • Work conditions may include office settings, shops, busy traffic areas, warehouses, and undeveloped properties, with frequent exposure to various environmental factors.
  • Capability to access all areas of the job site, including elevated positions and confined spaces.
  • Physical stamina to perform strenuous tasks associated with the role.
  • Proficiency in operating all relevant equipment and tools safely.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, bend frequently, and work in confined or awkward positions.
