Electrical Engineer, PE

As an Electrical Engineer, PE at Pcmc Inc, you will join a team that will challenge you and position you for advancement.

In this capacity, you will collaborate with a team of industry specialists to assist leading global companies in resolving their most complex challenges.

You will be part of our Architecture/Engineering Process Practice, partnering with experienced leaders, technical experts, and subject matter authorities to deliver top-notch solutions to our clients with consistency and precision.

What You'll Achieve
You will work both independently and collaboratively to support capital projects and implement solutions for our clients. Together, you will assist our clients in making essential changes to enhance their performance and achieve their most critical objectives.

Provide ongoing electrical engineering support for our clients' site electrical distribution systems in the food & beverage, life science, and advanced technology sectors.

Review and validate electrical designs for manufacturing power distribution systems.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors on new construction and renovation initiatives.
Review electrical design specifications and drawings.

Calculate power distributions for switchboards, panel boards, transformers, wire sizing, voltage drop, conduit fill, cable tray sizing and fill, and AICs.

Review cost estimates and budgets.
Manage multiple projects concurrently.
Maintain current knowledge of NEC codes.
Read and interpret design drawings and specifications.
Lead project teams.
Make a daily impact with your skills and expertise, strengthening relationships with our clients and team.
What You'll Contribute

A minimum of five years of experience in low and medium voltage power, easy power, load flow analysis, and working on electrical engineering drawings within a manufacturing context.

Experience collaborating with mechanical, electrical, and process (MEP) engineers and technicians.
Experience working on multi-disciplinary large capital projects involving owners, general contractors, contractors, and system integrators.
A solid understanding of design/build (engineering and construction).
Familiarity with facilities document control systems.
Experience with electrical as-built drawings incorporated into master CAD drawings.
Experience reviewing and updating electrical system models.
Experience with project closeout, including reviewing construction specifications, as-builts, O&M manuals, and submittals.
Proficiency in written and verbal technical communication, including generating reports and conducting group presentations.

A willingness to travel for project requirements, including installation and start-up activities, client and company-sponsored meetings, training sessions, industry-related seminars, forums, and conventions.

A Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, or a degree emphasizing power distribution, or equivalent work experience in life science or advanced technology manufacturing.

A professional engineering (PE) license.
