Job Title: Diesel Mechanic Mobile

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Mobile to join our team at Ryder. As a Diesel Mechanic Mobile, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of heavy-duty trucks.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake and tire work, and diagnostics and repairs
  • Identify and repair issues with diesel engines, including advanced skilled level repairs
  • Work independently and as part of a team to ensure quality of repair work performed
  • Interact with customers to facilitate preventative maintenance, repair issue resolution, and discuss new repair estimates
  • Coordinate work schedule as required by customers
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Vocational or technical certification, post-secondary degree, or technical certifications preferred
  • Three years or more relevant work experience, preferred
  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A, preferred
  • Non-Commercial Driver License Class E, preferred
