Job Title: Diesel Mechanic Technician

Ryder is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Technician to join our team in Raleigh, NC. As a Diesel Mechanic Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy-duty trucks and equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks, including oil changes, brake and tire work, and other scheduled maintenance.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with heavy-duty trucks and equipment.
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and repair issues.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to complete repairs and meet customer satisfaction goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Vocational or technical certification in diesel engine repair or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in diesel engine repair or a related field.
  • Valid CDL Class A license preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
