Job Title: Diesel Mechanic Technician

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Technician to join our team at Ryder System in Raleigh, North Carolina. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine preventative maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on our fleet of heavy-duty vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance, including oil changes, brake and tire work
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computers
  • Perform facility maintenance duties and interact with customers/drivers to determine the nature of complaints
  • Perform other support duties as required to support operations
Requirements:
  • Two (2) years or more of a combination of classroom training and work experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines
  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A, preferred
  • Ability to obtain CDL within 6 months after hire
