Site Security Manager

Job Summary
Micron Technology is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Security Manager to join our team. As a Site Security Manager, you will be responsible for the direct supervision of security personnel at a Micron site, ensuring the safety and security of our employees, assets, and facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage security personnel, including Micron Team Members and contracted security staff.
- Develop and implement local security programs to reduce risk to Micron personnel and assets.
- Administer physical security operations, including access control, loss prevention, and workplace violence prevention.
- Conduct risk assessments and investigations, and develop countermeasures to mitigate threats.
- Lead and monitor the performance of security officers on duty, and activate additional resource support as needed.
- Administer security systems, policies, and procedures in compliance with Company directives and guidelines.
Requirements
- Associates degree in the security field or a minimum of 5 years of experience as a security supervisor and 5 years of military or law enforcement experience.
- Professional certification as a Certified Protection Specialist (CPP), Physical Security Professional (PSP), or Industrial Security Professional (ISP) is desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and lead others.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
