Electrical Systems Installation and Maintenance Specialist

At Sloan Security Group, we're seeking a skilled Field Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key player in the installation, startup, and maintenance of our advanced systems, you'll be responsible for ensuring top performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Control Panel Assembly: Build and test control panels for deployment to field sites.
- On-Site Technical Support: Install, wire, and troubleshoot low-voltage electrical systems, including sensor platforms, gate operators, and active vehicle barriers.
- System Commissioning: Perform testing, calibration, and commissioning of equipment to meet customer specifications.
- Customer Training: Educate end-users on the operation of our systems to ensure smooth transitions and customer satisfaction.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Systems Engineering team to align project requirements and deliver exceptional service.
Requirements:
- Electrical Engineering Expertise: Solid background in electrical wiring, low-voltage circuits, relays, sensors, and industrial I/O.
- Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Proven skills in identifying and resolving electrical issues quickly and efficiently.
- Reading Schematics: Ability to interpret and work from electrical wiring diagrams and blueprints.
- Safety-Conscious: Adherence to safety standards when working around electricity and jobsite hazards.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and quality in your work.
- Communication Skills: Clear and professional interaction with team members, clients, and end-users.
- Independent and Motivated: Self-starter who can work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team.
- Tech Skills: Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and other relevant software.
- Willingness to Travel: Flexibility to travel up to 50% of the time to support various projects.
- Physical Ability: Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs when necessary.
- Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances.
