Site Representative

As a key representative of Sloan Security Group on each job site, the Superintendent plays a vital role in ensuring the successful execution of projects. This position requires a high level of professionalism, organizational skills, and effective communication with various personalities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate daily logs to track progress and identify potential issues.
- Create and maintain jobsite accident hazard analysis (AHA's) to ensure a safe working environment.
- Develop and implement weekly progress schedules to meet project deadlines.
- Represent Sloan at weekly subcontractor and owner coordination meetings to facilitate effective communication.
- Manage the onsite job office, including material and equipment inventory, to ensure smooth project operations.
- Oversee and enforce all safety regulations, reporting, and documentation to maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain production tracking and create remediation plans to correct issues and maintain the schedule and budget.
- Conduct interviews for project-specific labor as required.
- Coordinate subcontractors and work crews to ensure efficient project execution.
- Coordinate and schedule equipment/vehicle maintenance, repair, and replacement to minimize downtime.
- Translate contract documents into a work plan that is communicable to the Owner/Owner's Representatives, the GC/Sloan upper management, and the labor activity performing the work on site.
- Verify field layouts to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- Mentor and grow field personnel to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Input, review, and approve the crew's time sheets to ensure accurate payroll processing.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Relevant Bachelor of Science degree (e.g., Construction Management, Engineering, etc.) and/or 3-5 years experience in a Superintendent/leadership position.
- Ability to stand, sit, walk, talk, and listen for long periods of time.
- Ability to identify and solve complex problems.
- Strong experience in leadership, safety, and planning.
- Excellent organizational, administrative, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Pass background check.
- Pass pre-employment drug screen.
- Demonstrable knowledge of and skills in:
- MS Office and Procore.
- Critical path method scheduling.
- Cost controls and cost levelling.
- Interpreting plans and specifics.
- Basic knowledge of:
- Surveying principles and practices.
- Manpower planning.
- Concrete construction principles, methods, and practice.
- Low and high voltage electrical construction principles, methods, and practice.
- Gate systems theory, design, safety construction (UL325, ASTM F2200).
- Field welding and steel erection principles, methods, and practice.
Travel:
Be available to travel up to 75-100% as necessary.

- Must have physical condition and stamina sufficient to prolonged periods of standing, assist in lifting, carrying and moving objects weighing up to 80 pounds, with hearing and eyesight acuity to detect machinery noises, read gauges, measurements and properly utilize equipment provided.
- Ability to work outdoors in various temperatures, weather, and periods of darkness, as well as conditions such as mud, snow, ice, and direct sunlight.
