Job Summary

Deliver exceptional customer service by providing timely and efficient food delivery and service to clients. Ensure accurate execution of events during assigned shifts. May drive a catering delivery truck. Set up and serve at functions; clean event area during and after events; break down setup and leave area neat and clean; return leftover food and equipment to the catering facility in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and deliver all food and supplies for catered functions to scheduled locations.
  • Log and maintain food temperatures.
  • Arrange tables and decorations.
  • Arrange buffet tables with food, beverage, and service items according to standards.
  • Serve food and beverages to guests.
  • Thoroughly clean location after event is completed.
  • Return food and beverages, serving equipment, and utensils to catering facility.
  • Distribute and collect customer comment cards for catered functions.
  • Stock, clean, and maintain catering facility and equipment.
  • Ensure guests receive friendly, courteous service at all times.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of complete menu and products on hand.
  • Maintain clean and safe work environment.
  • Follow safety and sanitation policy and procedures at all times.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license may be required; must possess or able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers' permit where required by state law.
