Job Summary

As a Medical Equipment Specialist at Sentara, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of medical equipment in a healthcare setting. This includes cleaning, maintaining, and performing functional checks on equipment prior to issuance to patients. Your attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot issues will be essential in maintaining a safe and efficient environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain medical equipment to ensure proper functioning
  • Perform functional checks on equipment to identify any issues
  • Coordinate repairs and maintenance of equipment as needed
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure equipment is properly issued and reissued to patients

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of experience in healthcare, customer service, supply chain, or a related field
