About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the PACU department at AdventHealth New Smyrna Beach. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing and supervising direct and indirect total nursing care responsibilities to identified age-specific groups.

Responsibilities
  • Provide and supervise direct and indirect total nursing care responsibilities to identified age-specific groups.
  • Utilize the nursing process (assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating) in achieving the goals of the nursing department.
  • Adhere to the AdventHealth Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state, and federal agencies and accrediting bodies.
  • Actively participate in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a school of nursing.
  • Requires a minimum of one-year previous PACU experience.
  • This position requires special training specific to critical care nursing.
  • Current valid State of Florida or multistate license as a Registered Nurse.
