We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Peri-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) team at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital. As a PACU Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to individuals undergoing or recovering from anesthesia.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the PACU, including administering medications and treatments, monitoring patient conditions, and implementing patient care plans.
- Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs, ensuring a smooth transition to their next level of care.
- Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and recovery.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- One year of current acute care RN experience, with preference given to candidates with prior experience in PACU, Pre/Post Op/Recovery, or critical care.
