Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at AdventHealth New Smyrna Beach. As a PACU Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to patients recovering from surgery. This is a full-time opportunity with a day shift schedule and shared call requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients in the PACU, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans.
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a school of nursing.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a PACU or critical care setting.
  • Current valid State of Florida or multistate license as a Registered Nurse.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
  • Professional Certification in Critical Care Nursing.
