Job Title: Human Resources and Safety Manager

Warehouse Services, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources and Safety Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for the administration and performance of our Industrial Relations program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Learn and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure a safe and clean facility, and facilitate and track all Safety Team activities and performance.
  • Work with the IR Department to ensure compliance with labor laws and enforce company policies and procedures.
  • Operate material handling equipment as required to receive, store, process orders, package and ship material.
  • Perform searches for qualified candidates, schedule interviews, and monitor and maintain incoming applicants.
  • Make recommendations on candidates based on job descriptions and hiring standards, and facilitate background checks, drug screens, and physicals.
  • Ensure recruitment files are completed in accordance with compliance standards, and conduct company-required orientations.
  • Work with the Industrial Relations team to continually improve plans, programs, and processes to reduce cost, increase value, and promote highly effective recruiting support to the organization.
  • Administer company drug testing programs, job posting processes, and assist with unemployment claims.
  • Learn all functions of the Industrial Relations department.
Requirements:
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and UKG.
  • Thorough knowledge of WSI policies and procedures.
  • 3 years of HR and Safety experience.
