Strategic Remediation

Job Summary

This role sits within the Strategic Remediation Control Office, which leads the Transformation and Remediation at Deutsche Bank. The Office leads oversight of programs which contribute to the uplift of the Firm's capabilities across multiple lines of defense working in partnership with global Businesses, Risk, Compliance, Technology and Audit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure effective and sustainable outcomes are met from Compliance project management remediation plans through controls outcome quality review and challenge and closure advocacy
  • Execute against global framework for enhanced review and challenge of remediation delivery and outcomes, including testing capability aligned to regulatory expectations and criteria for scope of application
  • Ensure capability and capacity metrics are in place to deliver within mandate, and support lessons learnt and root cause review as deficiencies are identified
  • Train organization on 'what good looks like' in partnership with audit
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or above, preferably with a focus on economics, business, or engineering
  • Extensive working experience in the financial services industry and a clear understanding of Finance's key processes and systems
  • Strong reading and writing skills and highly experienced in Excel, PowerPoint, or reporting tools
  • Experience in executive messaging, reporting and communications related to managing large scale portfolio closures
  • Experience in the establishment, and implementation of review and challenge frameworks with a compliance focus
