This role is ideal for an experienced Program Manager with a solid foundation in product development and a fervor for engineering, tasked with overseeing engineering design and development projects that encompass hardware or software solutions within a diverse and collaborative environment.

The Mission:

Our clientele includes esteemed organizations such as the FAA, DOE, NASA, and TSA, among others, all striving to tackle the most challenging issues in safety, health, and efficiency.

We leverage our stature as a Fortune 500 entity, combined with deep technical expertise and a diverse workforce, to deliver mission-centric innovations.

The Challenge:

  • Guiding the team through the New Product Introduction lifecycle, including requirements gathering, concept development, design reviews, verification and validation, and production release.
  • Facilitating program meetings, technical discussions, program evaluations, and gate reviews.
  • Identifying and managing program risks in collaboration with the team.
  • Prioritizing team efforts to align with the program schedule.
  • Influencing cross-functional teams to achieve program goals.
  • Maintaining clear and regular communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Translating technical challenges and risks for a non-technical audience.

What Sets You Apart:

  • Prior experience as a program manager in hardware and software development.
  • Strong planning capabilities, including requirement definition, time estimation, stakeholder engagement, documentation, and testing.
  • A broad engineering background that enables analysis of design data across electrical, software, mechanical, and physical science disciplines.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills for effective interaction with all stakeholders.
  • A highly motivated, resourceful, and creative approach to problem-solving.
  • US Citizenship is required.

You Might Also Have:
Additional qualifications that would be beneficial include:

  • PMP certification.
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
  • Experience in product development related to algorithms, imaging systems, or software and network solutions.
  • Hands-on design engineering experience in the development and production of electronic equipment for medical devices, government security, military applications, or similar fields.
