We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialty Staff Pharmacist to join our team at Hackensack Meridian Health. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Process medication orders and review patient medication histories as needed
- Review patient medication profiles and determine alternatives for achieving outcomes
- Monitor patient outcomes and potential adverse drug reactions, drug-drug, and drug-food interactions
- Verify and supervise all technician duties for accuracy, quality, and timeliness
- Maintain documentation and control of controlled substances
- Participate in department projects or committees as needed
- Act as a key drug information resource to physicians, nurses, and patients
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field
- At least three (3) years of previously effective pharmacy experience in Hospital, Retail, or Specialty Pharmacy
- Registered Pharmacist License
- Strong verbal and communication skills
- Must be comfortable using multiple software programs
- PharmD degree
- Specialty Pharmacy experience
- Epic/Willow Ambulatory experience
- Board Certified and/or Certified Specialty Pharmacist
