Veterinary Hospital Director

As a dynamic and forward-thinking Assistant Hospital Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our premier 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital. Located in Tinton Falls, NJ, our state-of-the-art facility is equipped with cutting-edge technology and a team of dedicated professionals who share a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Hospital Director to develop and implement strategic plans that drive hospital growth and sustainability.
- Oversee hospital operations, ensuring peak efficiency and a supportive team culture.
- Partner with department managers to develop staff schedules and assess departmental needs.
- Conduct routine quality checks and reviews of client records and invoices.
- Drive continuous improvement in hospital programs, maximizing growth and revenue.
- Facilitate positive transformations within the hospital, guiding teams through changes and new initiatives.
- Provide information and assistance to enhance operations, serving as a vital resource for all departments.
- Collaborate in the development and implementation of hospital policies, including monitoring compliance with DEA controlled substance regulations and OSHA standards.
- Monitor computer systems and equipment, collaborating with our IT team to swiftly resolve any technical issues.
- Stay up-to-date with all features and functionalities of Ezyvet and VetRadar, our hospital operating systems.
- Veterinary experience is ideal, but other experience will be reviewed.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required.
- 2 or more years with direct experience leading, managing, and mentoring individuals and large teams.
- 2 or more years' experience with PL management, providing oversight of labor and expenses.
- Highly proficient technology and computer skills and the ability to read, interpret, and analyze complex performance metrics.
- Ability to prioritize time with flexibility based on the needs of the hospital.
- Competitive salary range of $90k – $110k per year.
