Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Insulation Sales Manager to drive sales of our full line of commercial insulation products. The successful candidate will educate, train, and build relationships with architects, developers, building owners, general contractors, installation contractors, and distributors to increase product sales using aggressive pull-through techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all work in a safe manner, promoting and fostering a safe work environment.
  • Identify, train, develop, and educate strategic architects, installing contractors, general contractors, and specification managers in major markets.
  • Demonstrate products to customers and influencers in a compelling and highly professional manner.
  • Work with independent sales representatives to facilitate and execute a pull-through strategy to maximize sales efforts in the field.
  • Ensure that independent sales representatives are appropriately trained on all features and benefits of products and are focusing on promoting and selling Kingspan products.
  • Invest necessary time and energy to become an expert in applications and systems, leveraging expertise to drive more compelling conversations with target audiences.
  • Identify commercial building projects within the region where Kingspan's products can effectively replace competing products, then successfully finalize sales.
  • Track projects in CRM and follow up to ensure specifications are not replaced by competing products.
  • Effectively use premium insulation portfolio as a differentiator to gain traction with contractors and distributors.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university plus at least 3-5 years of outside business-to-business sales experience, preferably in the building envelope driving specifications.
  • Engineering or Architecture experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated expertise and success in pull-through sales strategy.
  • Exceptional prospecting abilities.
  • Capability to establish strong relationships with contractors, architects, and owners.
  • Proficiency in technical selling techniques, including building robust partnerships and closing sales.
  • Competence in reading construction drawings.
  • Proficiency in business computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with project lead tools and CRM systems, such as Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution abilities.
  • High efficiency and effectiveness working from a remote home office.
