The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Revenue Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our Revenue Accounting team, you will be responsible for providing timely and accurate accounting for assigned revenue. This includes ensuring all revenues are recorded monthly and maintaining accurate accounts on the respective balance sheets through reconciliation to the general ledger.

Main Responsibilities
  • Liaise with Financial Planning & Analysis, Billing, and Revenue Accounting teams to ensure the accuracy and completeness of monthly revenue reporting.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers.
  • Analyze and prepare monthly journal entries with sufficient and complete documentation.
  • Perform P&L variance analysis for completeness and accuracy of revenue.
  • Perform Balance Sheet reconciliations for assigned General Ledger accounts in accordance with internal and SOX controls.
  • Assist team with special projects and ad-hoc reporting as requested.
  • Run product variance reports for monthly analysis during General Ledger close.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting and relevant experience required; 4+ years of related experience.
  • Master's degree preferred; 2+ years of related experience.
  • Knowledge of ASC 606 principles.
  • Excellent communication skills-written and verbal.
  • Ability to multitask by working in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability and willingness to meet deadlines imposed by monthly close cycles and quarterly disclosure requests.
  • Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with individuals at all levels.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, including SAP, Oracle, OneStream, Blackline, and Business Objects.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite of Applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, and PowerBI.
  • Proven track record of achieving professional goals successfully.
Compensation

The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.

This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive.
