Customer Service Representative

Randstad Strategic Accounts is seeking a skilled business professional for a temporary to hire Customer Service Representative opportunity with a leading healthcare company. The ideal candidate will have experience in call center and customer service, as well as familiarity with medical terminology.
Key Responsibilities:- Handle inbound and outbound calls to schedule medication delivery and payment, ensuring accurate information is included in customer profiles and distribution can be completed in a timely manner.
- Respond to customer inquiries and route calls to the appropriate staff to ensure prompt resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Update concise progress notes to enable other roles within the workflow to quickly assess the status of referrals.
- Provide customer service through the manipulation of management information systems to answer questions regarding refill needs, provide status of pending/shipped prescriptions, verify insurance information, and provide copies of invoices upon request.
- Answer patient questions and concerns during refill scheduling and transfer to the clinical team (pharmacists and nurses) when appropriate.
- Identify and report adverse events (AEs) and product complaints (PCs) to clinicians to ensure patient safety.
- At least 2 years of high-volume call center and customer service experience, preferably in the healthcare industry.
- Accuracy and detail-oriented are essential.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multitask and type with accuracy.
- Solid technical ability and ability to learn new systems.
- Competitive hourly rate: $18-$20.4 per hour.
- First shift: 11:30 AM - 8 PM.
- High school diploma or GED required.
