As a Sales Consultant at United Rentals, you will act as a vital point of contact for customers at our branch, responsible for recommending tailored solutions, providing quotes, selling, and fulfilling orders for our extensive range of equipment and services based on customer requirements. Key Responsibilities:

  • Process rental quotes, reservations, and contracts efficiently.
  • Develop new rental and sales accounts by assisting walk-in and call-in customers.
  • Negotiate rental prices for equipment and contractor supplies in line with company pricing policies.
  • Coordinate delivery logistics and manage customer expectations regarding delivery timelines.
  • Generate leads for new business opportunities and communicate these to Outside Sales Representatives.
  • Conduct follow-up calls on lost or inactive accounts to retain business.
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized showroom, adequately stocked with merchandise.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
  • Outstanding relationship-building and customer service abilities.
  • Strong multitasking skills in a dynamic work environment.
  • Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail is essential.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.

This position is classified as Safety Sensitive according to United Rentals' policies.
