Overview

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Tech II to join our team at Community Medical Centers of Fresno, CA. As a vital member of our Radiography Therapeutic team, you will work closely with the Nuclear Medicine Physician to provide optimal exams and procedures.

Your expertise in preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, and performing preventative maintenance on department equipment will be crucial in delivering top-notch care to our patients while adhering to all guidelines and regulations.

Responsibilities

As a Nuclear Medicine Tech II, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
  • Performing preventative maintenance on department equipment to ensure optimal functionality
  • Working closely with the Nuclear Medicine Physician to provide optimal exams and procedures
  • Providing excellent patient care and ensuring a comfortable and efficient treatment experience
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree from an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program or Associate's Degree in a related field
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • State of California Certified Tech Nuclear Medicine certification
  • Primary certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB(CNMT) or ARRT(N))
