The role is responsible for steering the Institutional Support Services (ISS) and Business Intelligence (BI) teams.

Guides the team to function efficiently while aligning with ISS and Adtalem's strategic objectives, ensuring adherence to compliance and regulatory standards.
Drives continuous improvement initiatives, change management, and business process enhancements to achieve outstanding results for all institutions, students, and stakeholders.
This position necessitates strong leadership capabilities, team development skills, and effective collaboration with internal ISS leaders, institutions, and other departments such as Finance, Regulatory Affairs, Internal Audit, and Marketing.
Utilizes innovative analytics and technological solutions to produce user-friendly analyses and dashboards that support business processes and strategic decision-making.
Fosters collaboration with the Adtalem Analytics/Data Engineering team to prioritize ISS requests and ensure data accessibility for power users within BI and ISS verticals for strategic analysis and processing.
Enhances performance within ISS and institutional partners to positively influence the student experience and support organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Directs the BI team to innovate and fulfill the team's mission, including the democratization of data across ISS, and the provision of visual and self-service analytics tools that promote efficient, compliant processing and data-driven management across ISS.
Collaborates with stakeholders to develop enhanced analytics solutions, focusing on self-service dashboards instead of repetitive ad hoc data requests.
Coordinates meaningful KPIs/SLAs across all ISS teams.
Develops BI talent with a deep understanding of ISS business processes and robust analytical capabilities, resulting in effective stakeholder collaboration, prioritization, and fulfillment of analytics requests.
Identifies and implements process enhancements and aligns functions with the appropriate teams, championing necessary changes.
Leads analytics projects and manages stakeholder relationships through proactive communication and project management tools, ensuring organization, progress, and transparency with ongoing status updates.
Oversees multiple functions across various institutions, ensuring seamless, student-centric data solutions that lead to exceptional business performance outcomes.
Provides leadership to guarantee quality and compliance related to all ISS analytics.
Designs analytics, technology, and business process solutions to yield efficient and effective results for all business partners.
Acts as an executive liaison, representing ISS with institutional partners by participating in various committees, task forces, and project teams, while maintaining a proactive and transparent relationship regarding service level agreements and continuous improvement in service delivery.
Collaborates with ISS leadership to determine prioritization, resource allocation, and timelines in alignment with ISS and Adtalem's strategic objectives.
Leads, develops, and manages talent to maximize outcomes and establish career paths for retaining top talent.
Maintains a customer-focused department; creates and reports on BI team service level agreements in accordance with ISS stakeholder needs.
Implements processes to ensure that SOPs and documentation are established for all BI analytics.
Promotes talent development through ongoing coaching, feedback, encouragement, and performance management, while embodying and exemplifying the organization's TEACH values.
Performs additional duties as assigned.
