Position Responsibilities:
  • Arrive at work well-groomed, in a clean uniform, and consistently practice good personal hygiene.
  • Utilize, maintain, and clean all kitchen equipment, preparation, and storage areas.
  • Ensure proper stocking and rotation of products on the cooking line.
  • Possess knowledge of cooking stations, menu items, and preparation procedures to ensure quality and performance standards.
  • Prepare menu items according to guest requests while adhering to company standards and food safety protocols.
  • Monitor food temperatures during handling to minimize food-borne illness risks.
  • Identify and rectify system breakdowns to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively with the Manager on Duty and team members regarding any product or service deficiencies, equipment issues, or safety concerns.
Qualifications:
  • Basic skills in sanitation, safety, and customer service, acquired through in-house training.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
Physical Requirements / Work Environment:
  • High level of mobility and flexibility is required.
  • Ability to work irregular hours under pressure during peak times.
  • Strong coordination skills are necessary.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds for distances up to 30 feet.
  • Must be able to fit through openings that are 30 inches wide.
  • Frequent reaching, bending, pushing, and pulling is required.
  • Exposure to heat, steam, smoke, cold, and various odors.
  • Continual standing and walking is necessary.
