Thompson Coburn, a prominent full-service law firm with a presence in multiple cities across the U.S., is seeking a Marketing Specialist for a full-time exempt role in its Washington D.C. office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Director of Business Development in overseeing the financial components of the Marketing Department, including budgeting and reporting.
  • Draft, edit, and publish various marketing materials, such as biographies, matter descriptions, proposals, and internal communications, particularly for stakeholders in the Washington D.C. office.
  • Enhance the marketing and visibility initiatives of the Firm within the Washington D.C. area.
  • Monitor and manage profile-raising activities, including significant events, social media initiatives, community engagement, conferences, and sponsorships. Develop and coordinate marketing content to support these efforts.
  • Manage the Pitchly database to ensure accurate tracking of matters and pitch notifications. Provide training to Marketing staff and attorneys on its usage and liaise with vendor contacts. Implement tracking of sponsorships within Pitchly to facilitate ROI assessments.
  • Analyze marketing data, including campaign performance, conversion rates, and online traffic, to refine and enhance future marketing strategies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in a marketing setting, managing multiple projects and deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience within a law firm or professional services environment.
