Job Summary

Comcast is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager, Risk Assessment to join our team. This role will be responsible for performing risk assessments of key accounts and financial reporting processes for the Comcast enterprise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform risk assessments and internal control evaluations to identify potential risks and assess the controls environment in our businesses.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within Corporate Accounting & Reporting and the divisions to ensure effective risk management.
  • Challenge current processes across the company and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Present findings to management and executive leadership.
  • Monitor changes in the business environment and emerging risks for financial reporting.
  • Exercise professional and independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience, such as public accounting, controls and compliance experience, or technical accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SOX, and SEC guidance, and COSO framework.
  • Strong project management, organizational and presentation skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to be proactive and work well within a team and independently.
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
