Job Summary
This position is responsible for the implementation, evaluation, and oversight of assigned programs at Facility MaineHealth. The Program Management Specialist will draft program work plans, monitor day-to-day activities, timelines, and other operational aspects of assigned programs, including the development of program materials and tools. With minimal direction, this role may lead one or more small programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement program work plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate program progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop program materials and tools, including training programs, marketing materials, and operational guides.
- Provide guidance and support to program staff, ensuring they have the necessary resources and training to perform their duties effectively.
- Lead small programs, ensuring successful implementation and delivery of program objectives.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare-related field is preferred.
- License/Certifications: None required.
- Experience: 2+ years of program coordination work experience and 2-4 years of healthcare or related work experience.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Technical acumen or subject matter expertise for programmatic tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite, SurveyMonkey, and Smartsheet.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong prioritization skills.
- Able to collaborate well with all stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to model professional behavior, working as a high-functioning team member, respecting others, and maintaining open and honest communications.
