As a member of the Demand Forecast and Analysis team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the US Channel business. We seek a motivated, collaborative, and process-oriented individual who will partner closely with various stakeholders, including Controllers, Sales Directors, and Operations teams. Your ability to work autonomously while being an outstanding team player will be essential.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct financial modeling, reporting, and market analysis, delivering insights through presentations to senior management.
- Forecast weekly sales performance and channel inventory by evaluating historical data and identifying potential risks and opportunities.
- Recommend adjustments to current quarter forecasts on a weekly basis, clarifying both internal and external influences and their financial implications.
- Assess the financial impact of promotional activities and establish a baseline for non-promotional demand for sales discussions.
- Develop quarterly unit forecasts for upcoming periods and monitor business performance against these projections, analyzing reasons for any variances.
- Gain a deep understanding of the US Channel business strategy, considering factors such as historical trends, seasonality, promotions, and the broader economic landscape.
- Become an expert in the consumer electronics sector, staying informed about competitor activities and market offerings.
- Perform standard reporting and ad-hoc analyses by creating and managing scalable Excel models, with experience in Tableau and Business Objects preferred.
- Assist in the ongoing enhancement of Apple's business support systems.

Essential Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience in corporate finance or related forecasting/planning roles.
  • Strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
  • Ability to convey complex analyses in a clear and concise manner.
  • Self-motivated and proactive with a strong sense of independence.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience in building effective cross-functional business relationships.
  • Capacity to understand both the broader context and the finer details.
  • Ability to thrive under tight deadlines and navigate ambiguity.
  • Proactive leadership and influencing skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel (Macro experience preferred).
  • Presentation skills, particularly with Keynote.
  • Familiarity with Demantra, Business Objects, Tableau, and Essbase.
