Job Title: Senior Database Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Database Analyst to join our team at Lawelawe Defense Inc. As a Senior Database Analyst, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining robust database systems that support critical business applications.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in developing and optimizing database systems, with a deep understanding of SQL and database technologies. You will be responsible for driving performance improvements and ensuring the security and integrity of critical data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain database systems that support critical business applications
  • Drive performance improvements and ensure data security and integrity
  • Collaborate with software developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to align database solutions with organizational objectives
  • Perform routine maintenance and upgrades under supervision of Sr Staff
  • Lead and participate in the development and maintenance of Cyber and IA database systems
  • Review and provide technical solutions to projects in different stages of the development life cycle
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, OR a Master's degree in the same fields with at least 10 years of relevant experience
  • Previous experience working in roles with strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate well with customers needs
  • Knowledge and strong familiarity of Oracle Database Administration
  • Knowledge of XML, HTML, open-source development
  • Experience in data warehousing, report generation, job scheduling, and monitoring tools
  • Proficiency with Unix/Linux, including basic shell commands
  • Strong technical documentation skills (Windows Office, Visio, CVS, etc.)
  • Security+ Certification required
  • Active secret clearance required
  • Must be a US citizen
