Child Care Assistant

As a Child Care Assistant with the Bennington Public Schools Foundation, you will have the opportunity to work in a supportive school setting, assisting with the supervision and engagement of children in daily activities.
With flexible hours available, this position is perfect for high school students ages 16+ looking to gain valuable experience in childcare and leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with supervising children in daily activities, providing positive guidance and care.
- Set up and clean up for snacks and program activities, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
- Follow emergency procedures and respond promptly to incidents, ensuring the well-being of children at all times.
- Communicate openly and respectfully with staff, parents, and children, fostering a positive and collaborative atmosphere.
- Flexible Hours – Perfect for balancing work and other commitments, with opportunities for professional development and advancement.
