Position Summary

Under the guidance of the Compliance Manager, the COI Compliance Officer will interpret and oversee adherence to the Georgia Board of Regents' policies on conflicts of interest, alongside Georgia Tech's own regulations and relevant federal laws. This role will engage regularly with senior management, faculty, researchers, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Evaluate financial disclosures from faculty and staff to identify potential conflicts of interest and collaborate with COI personnel for initial assessments.
  2. Analyze annual certifications to flag for further scrutiny.
  3. Assist in developing training initiatives focused on conflict-of-interest awareness.
  4. Maintain records of disclosures for annual assessments.
  5. Implement compliance policies and procedures in line with applicable laws and standards.
  6. Draft COI advisory communications and management strategies.
  7. Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Educational Background:
Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience:
Three to four years in compliance, auditing, or related fields.

Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree or equivalent experience, with a preference for candidates with higher education experience.

Compensation

Salary range: $61,759 to $75,000.
